Look at this Hadith Qudsi:
Abu Sa’eedul Khudri (R) narrates - reported by Wailami
Abdullah ibn Abbas narrates reported by Tabarani.
When Iblis La'anathullah was thrown down from the heaven to the earth; he was wrapped up in a cloth; he was one eyed; he had footwear only on one foot
and with his hands on his hips - Standing Akimbo
You are forbidden to pray or stand with your hands on your hips.
The Holy Prophet (S) said:
The devil stood up in a place between Arafath and Muzdalifa and cried/ Screamed:
O Allah! you removed me from your side O Allah, you condemned me to this perishable abode.
You made hell my dwelling place you gave everything to my enemy Aadam (A) give me also something that you have to Hazrath Aadam (A)
Allah told him that he would see Aadam (A) but Aadam (A) would not see him.(Iblis)
[ . . . إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ هُوَ وَقَبِيلُهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لا تَرَوْنَهُمْ
7.27 . . for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: ]
Shaithaan entreated Allah to add something more
Allah said: if Aadam (A) gets a child you too will get one.
Iblis: add something more
Allah: you are given the ability to tempt Aadam (A).
Iblis: yaa rabb, please add more
Allah: you would move through all the veins along with the circulation of blood through the human body
[Bukhari Hadith S.No. 2038- حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِى اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِى عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ - رضى الله عنهما - أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخْبَرَتْهُ . حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ عَنْ عَلِىِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ كَانَ النَّبِىُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِى الْمَسْجِدِ ، وَعِنْدَهُ أَزْوَاجُهُ ، فَرُحْنَ ، فَقَالَ لِصَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَىٍّ « لاَ تَعْجَلِى حَتَّى أَنْصَرِفَ مَعَكِ » . وَكَانَ بَيْتُهَا فِى دَارِ أُسَامَةَ ، فَخَرَجَ النَّبِىُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَعَهَا ، فَلَقِيَهُ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ ، فَنَظَرَا إِلَى النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ثُمَّ أَجَازَا وَقَالَ لَهُمَا النَّبِىُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم « تَعَالَيَا ، إِنَّهَا صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَىٍّ » . قَالاَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ « إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَجْرِى مِنَ الإِنْسَانِ مَجْرَى الدَّمِ ، وَإِنِّى خَشِيتُ أَنْ يُلْقِىَ فِى أَنْفُسِكُمَا شَيْئاً »
Vol 3, Book 33. Retiring To A
Mosque For Remembrance Of Allah (I'tikaf). Hadith 251.
Narrated By Ali bin Al-Husain : Safiya, the wife of the Prophet told me that she
went to Allah's Apostle to visit him in the mosque while he was in Itikaf in the
last ten days of Ramadan. She had a talk with him for a while, then she got up
in order to return home. The Prophet accompanied her. When they reached the gate
of the mosque, opposite the door of Um-Salama, two Ansari men were passing by
and they greeted Allah's Apostle. He told them: Do not run away! And said, "She
is (my wife) Safiya bint Huyai." Both of them said, "Subhan Allah, (How dare we
think of any evil) O Allah's Apostle!" And they felt it. The Prophet said (to
them), "Satan reaches everywhere in the human body as blood reaches in it,
(everywhere in one's body). I was afraid lest Satan might insert an evil thought
in your minds."]
Iblis: I want more
Allah: you will be permitted to use your army against Aadam (A).
[ وَاسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ مِنْهُمْ بِصَوْتِكَ وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِخَيْلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ فِي الأمْوَالِ وَالأولادِ وَعِدْهُمْ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ إِلا غُرُورًا
17.64 "Lead to destruction those whom thou canst among them, with thy (seductive) voice; make assaults on them with thy cavalry and thy infantry; mutually share with them wealth and children; and make promises to them." But Satan promises them nothing but deceit.]
Aadam (A) (a) responded by saying :
Ya Rabb ! you have made Shaithaan a close companion to me I will not be able to get away from his evil.
Allah: when you get a child, I will appoint an angel for the protection of the child
[ وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ
82.10 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,-]
Aadam (A):ya rabb add something more
Allah: If you do a good deed I will add 10 more good deeds to it
and if you do one evil deed, I will charge you for one evil deed only.
[ مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا وَمَنْ جَاءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَلا يُجْزَى إِلا مِثْلَهَا وَهُمْ لا يُظْلَمُونَ
6.160 He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: He that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be done unto (any of) them.]
Aadam (A): please add more, ya rabb
Allah: I will put a virtue on to your record at the mere intention of doing a good act whether you do the good act or not.
Aadam (A): please Allah, add more
Allah: I will forgive all their sins if they repent.
نَبِّئْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ )
15.49 Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful;(
Aadam (A): please add more
Allah: so long as they are alive, I will not close the door of repentance on them.
Aadam (A) said: ya rabb, what you have provided is enough.
then Iblis asked:
there are messengers for the children of adam who will be my messengers?
Allah: your messengers are the fortune tellers, astrologers and the magicians (saahir)
[يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْجِبْتِ وَالطَّاغُوتِ وَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هَؤُلاءِ أَهْدَى مِنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا سَبِيلا
4.51 . . .They believe in sorcery and Evil, and say to the Unbelievers that they are better guided in the (right) way Than the believers!]
Iblis: what is my kithab
Allah: the tattoo is your kithab
Iblis: what is my hadith (advise)
Allah: speaking lies
[ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَى مَنْ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّيَاطِينُ
26.221 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend?]
تَنَزَّلُ عَلَى كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ
26.222 They descend on every lying, wicked person,
يُلْقُونَ السَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَاذِبُونَ
26.223 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars.
وَالشُّعَرَاءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُونَ
026.224 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them:]
Iblis: what is my recitation
Allah: sensual musical songs
Iblis: who will be my caller
Allah: the beater of drums
devil: what is my masjid?
Allah: your masjids are places where fictitious stories are related.
devil: what is my house? my place of residence
Allah: latrines are your houses
[That was why Rasoolullah instructed us to ask this Du’a when we enter toilets :
أللهُمَّ إنِّي أعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ و الْخَبَائِث
Oh Allah protect me from the male devils and the Female devils]
devil: what is my food?
Allah: what that has not been slaughtered in my name haraam food and haraam food from haraam earnings.
devil: what will be my drink
Allah: all intoxicants is your drink
[ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالأنْصَابُ وَالأزْلامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
5.90 O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.
devil: I will make women my hunting grounds and I will make men stray through women
Allah: o Iblis la'een, I will forgive the progeny of Aadam (A), man or woman, when they ask of me for forgiveness for I am oft forgiving most merciful.
Get away from my mercy you will be the accursed until the day of judgement.
قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
38.77 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed.
You have heard the promises of Shaithaan the pleading of Aadam (A) and the Mercy of Allah so you your self-conditioning or stipulation means binding oneself with the resolve not to do anything against Allah's commands.
SHAITHAN THE CURSED CREATURE, AND HIS
LEGIONS MAY MAGNIFY THE VOLUME OF THE TASK IN YOUR EYES
BUT REMEMBER THAT THESE ARE THE GUILES PLAYED BY THE CHEAT.
CURSE AND DRIVE THE DEVIL AND EVIL THOUGHTS
FROM WITHIN THE DEPTHS OF THE HEART AND THE DOMAIN OF YOUR MIND.
My dearest brothers and sisters, you call
yourselves Muslims and you believe that Allah showers His Blessings on Muslims.
But open your eyes and see if those
blessings are in fact descending on you? You
cannot know what will happen to you in the Hereafter until after your physical
death, but you can most certainly look around you and see your condition here on
earth.
There are so
many hundreds of millions of you in the world that if each of you
were to throw a single pebble they would
make a mountain. But even though
there are so many Muslims and Muslim governments, the
world is in the hands of those who rebelled
against Allah.
Your necks are in their grip, to be turned
to whichever side they like;
your heads, which should not bow before
anybody except Allah are now bowed before human beings.
Your honour, which no one dared to touch,
is now being trampled upon. Your hands which were once held high, are now
lowered and stretched out before your enemies.
Ignorance, dependence, poverty and indebtedness have subjected you to
ignominy everywhere. Is this the blessing of Allah?
If it is not
but rather a sign of anger.
Then how strange it is that it is Muslims
on whom it is descending! You are
Muslims and yet are wallowing in ignominy;
you are Muslims and yet are slaves; This
situation is impossible as it is for an object to be white and black at the same
time.
If Muslims are the loved ones of Allah how
can they be treated disgracefully?
Is your Allah (God forbid) so unjust that
while you, for your part, acknowledge His duties and obey His orders He allows
the disobedient to rule over you, and punishes you for your obedience to Him?
If it is an article of faith with you
That Allah is not unjust and obedience to
Allah can never result in disgrace, then
you will have to concede that there is
something wrong in your claim to be
Muslims. Although you may be
registered as Muslims on your birth certificates, Allah does not base his
judgments on what is written on pieces of paper.
Allah prepares his own list of obedient and
disobedient servants, and it is in this list that you must search to find your
true
position.
We know that the Holy Quran is the Book of
Allah, while Kafirs do not, yet we treat is as a Kafir treats it.
And this makes usually the more deserving
of punishment. We know that
Muhummed(S) is the Prophet Allah and yet we
are as unwilling as a Kafir to follow him.
We know that God has cursed liars, has
positively declared Hell as the abode of
all who give and take bribes, has denounced those who borrow and lend at
interest as
the worst of sinners has; condemned slander
as being as bad as eating a brother's flesh; and has warned that obscene
behaviour,
pornography and debauchery will meet with
the severest punishment.
Yet despite knowing all this we freely
indulge in all these vices, as if we had absolutely no fear of Allah's
displeasure. This is why we are not
rewarded: we are Muslims in
appearance only. The fact that those
who do not accept God's sovereignty rule over us and subject us to ignominy on
every possible occasion shows that we are being punished for ignoring Islam
Allah's greatest gift to us.
Dearest Brothers and Sisters, nothing I
have said to day is intended as blame.
I have not come to censure.
May aim is to kindle the desire in you to
recover the treasure that has been lost.
Such a desire arises when a man realizes exactly what he has lost and how
valuable it
was. I
have spoken sharp and pungent words only to awaken you and compel you to think.
