Hypothetically, If I tell you that a friend of mine enquired from me as to how my brother-in-law took a bath and I take him to my sister who will know her husband better than I; and we ask her this question. If she goes in and brings a bucket of water and pours it over her head right in front of us and says “This is how my husband took a bath” what would you say?
I know for a certainty that you would have no doubts in your mind that my sister is not quite right in her head.
Let us now look into the famous “Sahih”-al-Bukhari
“Sahih” Al-Bukhari Volume 1. Hadith No.251
Narrated by Abu Salama
‘Aisha’s brother and I went to ‘Aisha and he asked her about the bath of the Prophet. She brought a pot containing about a Sa’ of water and took a bath and poured it over her head and at what time there was a screen between her and us.
Observe carefully: After having said that she poured the water over head -
Bukhari would have thought – Oh! That cannot be right – how can she bathe in front of her brother and an outsider and he made it worse by saying :
That there was a screen between them – ، وَبَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهَا حِجَابٌ
Now the question arises : If the screen was thick – there was no point in ‘Aisha’s demonstration as the men would not have been able to see.
If, however, the screen was thin and could be seen through – there is no point in having a screen at all.
Bukhari goes out of the way and insults Ummul Mu’mineen ‘Aisha or he was suffering from mental retardation, citing this stupid hadith as ““Sahih””
The worst is, the “great scholars” paying glowing tributes to Bukhari’s stupidity and mental retardation, must indeed be mentally insane themselves.
